Because of security concerns, I have ActiveX turned off except for
trusted sites. Many web pages include ActiveX controls, and on every
visit to such a page I have to click on the "OK" button in response to
the following warning message from IExplore:
"Your current security settings prohibit running ActiveX controls on
this page. As a result, the page may not display correctly."
I'm pretty sure MSoft made this message non-disableable, with the
intention of wearing users down through incessant irritation until
they eventually just start letting ActiveX run.
Does anyone know if there is any way now or in some future improvement
that this message might be disabled? I grow weary of this
foolishness.
