how to get programs out of start up

How can I get programs to quit automitcally starting? I
know there is a way but I can't remember it.
Thanks.
 
Check the program's own options, first. If you can't find it there, then
click Start, Run and enter MSCONFIG Go to the Startup tab and uncheck it
there.

Click Start | Run | MSConfig | Startup tab
