How to get notified of an incoming email on my cell phone

I am using Windows Vista, with Windows Mail and would like to receive emails
or at least email alerts on my cell phone. Can this be done ??
 
What you run on your computer has no bearing on what can be done
on your cell phone. I suggest you read the information posted in the
users group for your phone.
