Controlling Access to the Power Switch : -
======================================
On many hardware platforms, the system can be protected by using a power-on
password. A power-on password prevents unauthorized personnel from starting
an operating system other than Windows 2000, which would compromise system
security. Power-on passwords are a function of the computer hardware, not
the operating system software. The procedure for setting up a power-on
password, therefore, depends on the type of computer. Consult the computer
vendor's documentation for additional information.

Venkat.
