How to get Fax sender number and name

Hi

How can one get Fax senders Number name upon recieving a Fax. I am usng
win2k , tried FaxGetJob method but except Documnt Name and some of the staus
nothing is really filled by FaxGetJob. Is tere exists any other altenate to
read those info too.
Do we need to set these info at the other side ( who is initiating fax ) ?
If so how ?

Hi All

Who can answer this ? using a PBX i dont recive the Fax sender number while
recieving a fax.
Or there exists any other method to identify the sender.

Pbm is i have a Fax server of my own which recives Fax from multiple numbers
,need to route to diff folder based on some rules.


Please help

The underlying T30 protocol that's used for fax transmission doesn't support
anything like sender number or name. All you can get is TSID (Transmitting
Station Identifier). TSID has to be set by the sender. I am not sure about
setting TSID on a traditional Fax machine though.
