Hi every one, I have a access front end that tracks the flow of specific
pieces, there is a point where we need to take a picture of all the parts and
store it using the piece ID as the name, for quality pourposes.
The camara could be ativated by clicling a button on the screen or
preferiblu a key on the keyboard.
Any Idea on how can I acomplisch that?
Thank you all for your help.

If you are talking about a digital photo camera, you can do this easily
using Access2007. I'm not going to address how you work the camera, but you
need to save the image to the the hard drive. In Access you need a table
with a field to hold the piece id and an attachment type field. When an
attachment type field is placed on a form, Access has a tool, attachment
manager, to find it on the hard drive then save it into the database in the
attachment field. The attachment field will hold various picture and
document formats, including .jpg, .pdf, and Word.

In each record you can record the piece ID and save the picture. When you
double click on the control, the attachment manage comes up and allows you
to open the picture or document.

God Bless,

Mark A. Sam
