Hi,

I am using windows 2000 NTbackup utility to backup my
server. I think my backup is appending to the tape rather
overwrite to the backup media. Does any anyone know how
to change setting to overwrite rather than append. Can
this be achieved by a command line switch?

Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks,

You want to use a batch file script for this - email me (un-munge my addy
first) and I'll send you a copy of one that works really well for me. I
didn't write it; a friend of a friend of a friend did, and it's great stuff.

Hi Lanwench ,

I am not to sure what you talking about (email me (un-
munge my addy first). If you can send me the script that
would great. email to (e-mail address removed)

Thanks for your help.

"Unmunge" means, you should remove the glaringly obvious antispam text in my
email address to send me a request. Note that now that you've posted your
unmunged email address in a newsgroup post, you're probably gonna start
getting a lot more spam - they 'harvest' addresses from newsgroup posts!

Thank for letting me know about the spam. I though the
new group was email spam free but it look like it's not.
Please can you send the me a copy of the your script.

When you are sending me a email please enter word backup
in the subject line. other wise the email will be deleted
automatically.

Thank you for your help.
