How to force the DNS to drop my Host name

Here's the situation.

I use DHCP. I get a IP from DHCP when I boot up (wired lan). I then
disconnect and then reboot from another subnet (wireless).

However, when I ping from a 2nd machine to my hostname, the IP did not
change. It still shows that I'm on the wired lan.

Is there a way to tell the DNS that I've moved ? Thanks.

"ipconfig /flushdns" and then "ipconfig /registerdns"
