How to force reconnection for Offline Files use.

I've been playing around with Offline Files lately. If I pull the network
cable on the local PC (the one that is caching the files) then later plug
it back in, the offline indicator goes away in a minute or so. However,
if I pull the cable on the 'server' (the original location of the files)
then later plug it back in, the offline indicator never seems to go away
until I reboot the local machine.

Is there any way to force the local machine to reconnect? I have tried
forcing it to synchronize using the Synchronization Manager but it
doesn't really synchronize and the offline indicator still doesn't go
away.

The synchronization manager should do the trick completely... See
which shares are causing the incomplete sync and then try connecting
them manually... Also check the event logs to see if any errors were
logged that can shed some light on these problems...
