I've been playing around with Offline Files lately. If I pull the network
cable on the local PC (the one that is caching the files) then later plug
it back in, the offline indicator goes away in a minute or so. However,
if I pull the cable on the 'server' (the original location of the files)
then later plug it back in, the offline indicator never seems to go away
until I reboot the local machine.
Is there any way to force the local machine to reconnect? I have tried
forcing it to synchronize using the Synchronization Manager but it
doesn't really synchronize and the offline indicator still doesn't go
away.
