To everyone who has the problem where if you run the
updater, it says it's updating from definitions 5719 to
5721, even though you have already done so, I have found
a workaround for this annoying bug. (If anyone from
Microsoft sees this, could you plase post this workaround
on the Microsoft AntiSpyware Beta site)
If you don't have a copy of the installer, go to
http://download.microsoft.com/download/8/1/5/815d2d60-
49b5-44dc-ae35-
fca2f2c6f0cc/MicrosoftAntiSpywareInstall.exe and save the
installer to your desktop or wherever you like to save it.
Run the installer, and select "Remove." Now reboot your
system. Then run the installer again, and install the
program. Launch the program, and run the updater. If
you run the updater again, you won't see it downloading
definitions 5721 and instlling them each time you run the
updater.
