I'm my system's admin, but I have a password on the Admin account for me, and
I have somehow forgotten it. Is there a "master key" or sorts that I could
use to change it? Or am I completely screwed forever?

IF you can access the RUN box [or any other Command Prompt], type "control
userpasswords" then click "OK". You can subsequently change user passwords.

That doesn't help at all. I tried the stuff that Mark has suggested as well
and I can't get anything to work. I guess I'm screwed. I'm going to do a
system restore, and if that fails, I'll reinstall Windows.
