How To Fix Error?

After installing Vista Premium (via upgrade), I keep getting this error
message almost everytime I click "Send" on an email (in Outlook 2003) The
add-in C:\WINDOWS\system32\fsext32.dll could not be loaded or installed. The
error message also suggests running "Detect and Repair," which I have (about
4 times) but the error message keeps coming back. How do you "fix" this?

I apologize if this question has been asked and answered before but I
searched the Discussion Boards before posting. Thanks.

Did you create a new mail profile after the OS upgrade?

No I didn't create any new profiles. The 3 email profiles I previously used
in XP appeared to roll over and were present in Vista.

It's always a good idea to create a new mail profile when upgrading either
Outlook or the OS. Control Panel>Mail.

Brian - I deleted the 3 "old" email account profiles and set up 3 "new" ones.
New ones are really the same names as before but set up fresh. I did this
under "Detect & Repair" and chose "Discard my customized settings and restore
default settings." This of course deleted all my emails, contacts, etc. which
I then restored from the .pst archive. However, the same problem (The add-in
C:\WINDOWS\system32\fsext32.dll could not be loaded or installed) persists. I
click on "ok" and the message still sends but the persistant error message
is annoying. Any other ideas? Thanks.

I found the fix to this problem. In Outlook, open Tools: Trust
Center: Add-Ins. At the bottom of this screen, where it says
"Manage:", select "Exchange Client Extensions" and click "Go". Now
you will see the FaxExtension, and you can disable it by unchecking
its check box and clicking OK.

Gabriel - I appreciate the response but I don't have a "Trust Center" option
in Outlook 2003 running on Vista Home Premium.

I also have had the same problem with: C:\WINDOWS\system32\fsext32.dll could
not be loaded or installed when I try to send an email. Microsoft support is
no help and the previous string ending with Harpo's "No Trust Center" under
Tools is my situation...colin
