to extract to 'system32'
thanks
Jongky said:First of all, I've deleted 'msmgr32' ( i forget the exatcly name) on
register edit, cause my anti virus never stop cathed virus call
'WORM_RANDEX.D. & BKDR_SONE.A
and now it worked after i deleted 'msngr32' but when I restart my PC
again, a window called cmd.exe prompt me. it said 'click YES, and it
will extract automatically.'
When I click yes, it was failed. there is BROWSE choosing there, so i
tried to change the direction to my cd rom drive which contains win2k
cd. but it didn't work.
Now the windows (cmd.exe) always prompt me everytime i start up. I
can close and ignore it but it 's very bugging me.
I am sorry for my poor english.
thanks a lot

I'm not sure what your question means - you're getting an error at
startup, and what exactly does it say? Have you checked your system
and application event logs?
Don't worry about your English - it's fine.
Exact name of what you deleted in the registry would help. Also, the exact
message you got at startup.
What AV software are you using? Is it recent, and are you updating it
regularly?

The message I've got at start up was: I think it's something like DOS. The
window is black and at the top there is a blue bar
(c:\winnt\system32\cmd.exe)
Anyway, I've also got SVCHOST.exe and I've read lots of Win2K user got
infected with this worm.
I've dowloaded the path from microsoft and a free cleaning worm from
symantec. it's running now =)
Hope it can solve the problem
Thanks a lot for your fast respond =)
