How to find/undo a script file?

Have been trying for several weeks to get the arrow button for hiding taskbar
items back for one user. Followed the suggestion to go to Kelly's Korner and
download the "fixall" script by Kelly T. and Doug K.. When I ran it, it
deleted all but 4 of the icons there and did NOT restore the button. The
Task Bar is set to hide unused icons, but the button does not appear for this
one user. This user is also an Admin.. The file is still on the desktop for
that user, but the only option is to run it - no option that I can find to
"undo" it.
Does anyone have help and advice, please ? What do I do/try next ?
Thanks in advance.

System Restore may have a point saved before you ran the script.

As far as the hide inactive icons setting goes, you might try checking and
unchecking and checking with 'Apply' each time.
Rightclick the start button, Properties, Taskbar tab, see check for hiding.

Thanks, Mark, for taking the time to reply. Much appreciated.
Will go in as that user and check the Restore points - hadn't tried that.
As for the rest, well, I've checked, unchecked, applied, Ok'd, rebooted,
checked all settings for that user and more, at least a ga-zillion times !!
Settings are identical for both users (both Admins.), but that button is
missing for one user. It is there for the other.
Totally frustrated...
Thanks again,
