Hi,

I have many network printers. I attempted to find out the IP address for
each of them, how can I find it? Some of them allow me to figure out from the
front panel, but most of them not.

Any help will be appreciated!

All of them should allow a printout of the settings currently in effect.
If you don't have the manuals, check the mfg's Website.

Another option, if you use a shared print server - look at the port
configuration on it. It should tell you the IPs, if you're using standard
TCP/IP ports.....I would definitely recommend a print server rather than
configuring all your network printers as 'local' printers on your clients.
It is a lot easier to manage them that way.

One additional suggestion, after you find the IP address/MAC address, is to
set up a DHCP reservation for each of the printers, rather than using static
IPs. It's a pain to keep track of static IPs and I try to keep it to a
minimum (.e., on servers & networking equipment only).
