Hi,
I am trying to find out why my network tends to be slow. First, I
wanted to start checking RAMs for each computer, then nics and then
the server.
My question is: how can I find out the speed at which an NE2000 card
is functioning. I understand that NE2000 is some kind of Novell
standard for nics. I know that, under win95 most of the NE2000s are
configured to function at 10 MBps, but what about under win98 ? If the
type of my card (under device manager) is shown as "Novell 2000
Ethernet Adapter", is it a 10 or 100 under win98 ?
Your help and suggestions will be much appreciated.
Thanks
