How to find architecture from sSpec number?

I have the sSpec numbers of a bunch of processors, and I can
look them up at Intel's web site using the processor spec finder:
http://processorfinder.intel.com/scripts/details.asp?sSpec=?????

However, that page doesn't identify the chip's architecture
using the common code names like Northwood, Prescott, Katmai,
etc. How do I find out which code name is appropriate for a
given processor?

Those code-names are not official names so Intel doesn't document them
anywhere. You have to cross-reference the specs with the code-name
specs. Google should be able to track down those specs, though the
following page lists pretty much everything you need:
