If you are like most people who post here, you are viewing this newsgroup
through the web. In order to find the answer to your question, you have to
click Expand All, or click the + next to your post.

The best way to access these newsgroups, any newsgroup for that matter, is
through your news reader such as Outlook Express.
Open Outlook Express, Click Tools, Accounts, News Tab. Click Add, News.
Type in a name (I use Joe727). Type in an e-mail address but not your real
one. (I use (e-mail address removed)). In the News NNTP Server space type
msnnews.msn.com Click Next, Finish, Close.
A pop-up will appear asking - Would you like to download newsgroups from the
account you added? - Click Yes. After they download, in the box type the
word support . You will see this newsgroup
(microsoft.public.windowsxp.help_and_support) as one of your choices. Click
on it to highlight it, Click Subscribe, then Click Ok.
You can subscribe to any of the Microsoft newsgroups available on the
Community Newsgroups website using Outlook Express. Doing so will make it
easier for you to keep track of your posts since you can flag them.
