Hi,

I thought a few people may find this tip useful on how to export mail
from a Internet email provider such as Yahoo!

- This method does not lose the 'sender' header

1. Setup Outlook 2000 to communicate with Yahoo (see yahoo help for
setup info.)
- Make sure you set the option to LEAVE a copy of the emails on the
Yahoo server.

Outlook can only 'see' the INBOX of Yahoo! so
2. YAHOO: If you have folders MOVE the mail to the INBOX and set them
all to UNREAD.

3. OUTLOOK: Send/Recieve mails to the Outlook inbox - you can then
move them to Outlook folders.

4. YAHOO: Move the emails from the INBOX back to folder (just to keep
things tidy.)

Please note once you move sent items in Yahoo! you cannot move them
back to the default sent folder.

Hope this helps.

Using YahooPOPs would be much easier. Gives me POP3 access to Yahoo
without having to pay them for it.
