I need the command to export the entire registry to one
file. I am writing a batch program to restore cd-rom
drives after installing/uninstalling roxio. The normal
regedit /e works for all but XP. Ive tried that,
regedit32 /e , reg /e and none seems to work. When my
friend tried to contact microsoft from his XP system,
insted of actually giving "Customer Support" as the call
it, they said we had to ask in here. Can anyone give me
some real assistance with this issue?
Thanks,

After running regedit, you can click on the File menu and
select Export. This will let you export the entire
registry to a file with an .reg extension. But to my
knowledge, this is just a precaution before editing to
allow you to restore the registry if necessary.
