Hi everyone,

I have my Access 2003 database, complete with index definitions, value
constraints and referential constraints. Now I would like to export the
underlying DDL. It seems this cannot be done. Am I missing something?

Please note that I am *not* asking how to export the data within the
database, only the table structures (table/index definitions and
constraints).

Thank you very much.

Hi Alan,

AIUI a Jet database (MDB file) has no "underlying DDL" to export: all there
is is what you can get at through the object models (DAO and ADO). But it is
presumably possible to use this information to construct DDL: at least I
presume that's what the upsizing wizard does in order to create a SQL Server
database. Newsgroup or web searching will find you more.
