Sorry, but what I meant was a "distribution list". I am trying to
export 2 distribution lists from Outlook 2007 (desktop) to Outlook
2003 (laptop). Each list contains about 20 email addresses and I'd
rather not have to copy or rewrite each one of them to my laptop
Outlook. ???
Distribution Lists don't survive export/import. You have a couple of
choices: you can open the DL and click Save As, saving it as a tab-separated
value text file and then you can cut/paste into a new DL creation form. I,
however, would either simply copy the PST where the DL resides (while
Outlook is closed, of course) to the other PC, open it there in Outlook, and
drag the DL from the add PST to the default Contacts folder or I'd create a
new PST on the source machine, create a contacts folder in it, copy the DL
to that COntacts folder, close the PST, close Outlook and copy that PST to
the other machine.
