how to expand the list of fonts

Not all items have a Font selection.

NOTE: Not all options for all Window elements are available. For example,
the Font option appears dimmed and is unavailable for elements in the Item
list that do not display text.

NOTE: You can change the look of individual items if you select Windows
Classic style in the Windows and buttons list on the Appearance tab of
Display Properties.

Right-click an empty area of your desktop, then click Properties, and then
click the Appearance tab. Under Windows and buttons, change to Windows
Classic style and click Apply.

If you select a visual style other than Windows Classic, that style
determines the appearance of your menus, fonts, icons, and other Window
elements.

From the Advanced Appearance page....
If you select a Windows and buttons setting other than Windows Classic, it
will override the following settings, except in some older programs.

Note: In order to fully use this feature you must have your Windows and
buttons setting on Windows Classic.

Thank you for the prompt reply!

But I was wondering about the list of fonts that is in that Advanced
Appearance page. There are about 30 fonts but I have at least 100 on my
computer within Windows/Fonts... Is there a way to include all my fonts on
that list?

What particular font(s) are you after?

I have 258 fonts in my Fonts folder and not all of mine are listed on the
Advanced Appearance page either.

As near as I can tell, only .ttf fonts are listed.

Are they TrueType fonts? TrueType fonts have a .tff extension.

TrueType fonts
Fonts that are scalable and sometimes generated as bitmaps or soft fonts,
depending on the capabilities of your printer. TrueType fonts are
device-independent fonts that are stored as outlines. They can be sized to
any height, and they can be printed exactly as they appear on the screen.

I just did a Search of C:\WINDOWS\Fonts and I have 244 .ttf type fonts. I
am sure that not all of those are listed either. There are too many in my
Advanced Appearance page for me to count manually.
