How to establish trust relationship between windows2000 & NT4 PDC.

Hi,

I have windows 2000 server with AD mixed mode & windows NT 4 PDC.

All user accesing windows 2000 server , when windows 95user try to access
NT4 PC it's keeps on asking username & password .

How to establish trust relationship between windows2000 & NT4 PDC.

It's probably a WINS (Server) issue.

For legacy trusts to work you need NetBIOS resolution which
for multiple Domains OR multiple subnets practically means
that you need WINS Server(s).

All DCs (and the PDC/BDC in NT) as well as clients need to
be WINS "CLIENTS" of the same WINS "database"*.

This is true even of "servers" because they must both REGISTER
themselves with WINS Server AND use WINS to find each other.

* Same WINS database == either same WINS Server or a "set of
WINS servers that replicate with each other."
