Hi all,

All users of workstations ( in my network) running Win2000 Pro have
full access to the web, MSN messaging and so on. As from now, I want
to prevent them from having access to the whole web, they will only
have access to the Intranet Web site. I also want to create mail
accounts for them at Hotmail and let them have access to electronic
mail using Oultlook. The problem is that if I disable the Internet
access to workstations, users may not be able to receive mails in
outlook. Anybody to help me?

I sense some contradictions in your post:

- If you create Hotmail accounts for them then you must give
them Internet access.
- If you want them to use Outlook then they don't need Hotmail
accounts.

You should also state how you want them to use Outlook: via
an Exchange server, via an internal POP3/SMTP server or via
your ISP's POP3/SMTP server.

How do I band access to the Web ( external Sites) and let them have
access only to the local web site. They will also be able to receive
and send mail through outlook using SMTP of my ISP and the Hotmail
Wemail server (configure in their accounts). I cannot completely block
IE because the local Web site is usefull.
