How to enable Java so I can play Yahoo games?

Hi,

how do I enable/install? Java so I can use Java Applicants
like Yahoo Games? It will open the box to the room of your
choice, then under the yahoo games logo shows a white box
where the room would load into, what can I do about this?
its been driving me nuts!
