How to enable/disable "press any key to boot" message for El Torito

Does anyone know how to control whether the "press any key to boot from
CD" message appears for an El Torito CD? I have looked at the
newsgroup, boot.ini options, msdn etc. It seems to me I saw this
somewhere recently, and can't find it now.

Thanks.

Aha! That's where I saw this previously:

http://groups.google.com/group/micr...lnk=gst&q=bootfix.bin&rnum=6#4da5c7af3d142b98

So if bootfix.bin is present you will get the message "press any key".
I am trying to add this capability (press any key) to my El-Torito CD.

However, documentation that I see that mentions bootfix.bin is all
related to WinPE or Windows Setup, not El Torito. Since I do not
have any components in my XP Embedded database that contain a
'bootfix.bin' file, i would surmise that maybe that is only for them.

I can get a bootfix.bin file from my WinPE cd (Disk 1 of XPE install)
and guess that it would belong in the same folder as NTDetect.com i.e.
C:\. Will post back results after I am able to try it. Meanwhile if
anyone can confirm/deny this works with El Torito, I would appreciate
it.

Are you asking a question or providing a possible answer?

The feature I am looking for is related to what is on the CD, I would
like a CD to boot automatically if it is in the drive, without a
prompt.
