How can I empty the Outlook 2002 mail spooler?? I have
an account that I only use to 'receive' emails. Even
though I have the 'send' setting on this account set to
127.0.0.1 some application keeps trying to send via this
account. Nothing shows in the outbox. There must be a
folder or file that holds these unauthorized messages for
transmission. I want to delete them. Can anyone help??

Better is to disable the sending of messages all together;
Tools-> Options-> tab Mail Setup-> button Send/Receive-> select Send/Receive
group-> button Edit-> select Account-> deselect Send Messages

When there are mails stuck in the Outbox you can delete them by placing
Outlook in Offline Mode by File-> Work Offline and restart Outlook. Once
restarted you should be able to delete them. Don't forget to put Outlook
back On-line!
