How can I get rid of Microsoft Hotfix 943232? I installed it in order
to get a recent version of ZoneAlarm to function properly, which I
have now uninstalled. Stupidly I got rid of the uninstaller for the
hotfix. How to ensure that everything done by the hotfix is undone?

I'm using Win XP Pro SP2 and a T7700 CPU.

Thanks in advance,
John

Hello John:

I'm really guessing with this one. Have you tried installing KB943232
again? I know it's possible that the installer might abort, but it
might be worth the try.

Might be some mileage in System restore.

Hope this helps.

Thanks Pete, I will try this. But where can I get another (legit) copy
of KB943232 for SP2? I found the email in which Microsoft sent me the
URL and password; the URL still works for the download, but the
password doesn't. On their website nowadays, they have only got
KB943232 for SP3 and SP4.

You would be far better off getting rid of zone alarm.
