Hey, Ive searched over the net about this but... I dont particulary get it,
So, how do you dual boot with XP Home and Windows Vista ....Ive got XP Home
installed on my 80gb hard drive.
And I have another hard drive with 2 partitions, 86 and 96 gb or
something...
Do I just install Vista on another partition [ my other hard drive not 80gb]
?

And if I do that, but, how do I select when I load up my computer to choose
which OS I want to load?
Because I want to keep XP and Vista... Just incase if a prob arises..
Thanks

Since Vista is still in beta, I would strongly suggest
installing a second hard drive (as a slave), and installing
Vista beta on it. Then open your BIOS, set your DVD
drive as the first bootable drive and you can boot
from the Vista installation DVD and select your
slaved drive for installation.

When I install this, I start setup from within XP. During the setup
process, you select the drive and partition to install Vista to. A boot
loader will be added. When you power on the machine (or restart), a menu
will appear giving the chance to select which operating system will be
used.

Be careful. Anything can happen with betas and usually does. Be sure to
image or fully backup your XP partition so that if things go wrong, you can
restore XP. Also, do not recommend installing this unless it was received
from official MS channels. Those are the more stable builds.

PS: There's nothing wrong with Carey's method. It's just a different way of
doing the same thing.

I would not recommend you to do this. I would get another HD and install this Beta there. It is a Beta and it is not at the point where it would be stable on your computer
