Hello,

This is Jay Shah. This is regarding PowerPoint object model development. I
am trying to draw flow chart kind of diagram in PowerPoint using VBA or VB
code. brief overview of what I want to do is, I will get some parameters in
array from some other application and then I'll use those parameters to
generate flow chart in PowerPoint show.

What I did is simply recorded macro while creating 2 text boxes using
drawing objects. when I try to run this code thru button click while show is
running I get error message. "Invalid Request; There is no currently active
document window"

I worked with Excel/Word object model but I never worked with PowerPoint, I
searched on web if I get some help. In fact I spent lot of time on your web
site but I didn't find single sample which will explain what I need to do.

May be my idea of treating PowerPoint to draw flow chart kind of diagram is
not good or I cannot do this with PPT.

Please help/guide me.

Waiting for your reply

Thanks in advance

Jay

A very common problem, Jay, and one everybody runs into sooner or later.

Macros I record in Normal/Slide view don't work in Slide Show
