how do u delete a file that is being used by another
program. how do u figure out wut is using this file so u
can delete it?
 
What type of file. If it's a media file and it is a part of a playlist in
Windows Media Player or some other player, first try deleting it from the
playlist, reboot and try deleting it.

If that fails, go to the following site, scroll to line 39 and double click
"Delete an Undeletable File in Windows XP." As always, be sure you are well
backed up before performing the specified function.
