How to dissable the checkbox proxy settings in the internet explorer

Hello all,

My children are not allowed to change there proxy settings in th
internet browser because i want to filter there internet use by a prox
server and a content filter.
could it be a registry setting to dissable the checkbox
in there internet browsers?

if anyone know how to grey out this checkbox please let me know.

Assuming they are not local administrators that know how to configure Group Policy,
run gpedit.msc and navigate to user configuration/administrative templates/Windows
components/Internet Explorer and enable disable changing proxy settings. Note that on
a local machine this will disable changing proxy settings for all users including
administrators. --- Steve
 
This is HKCU\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Control Panel,
REG_DWORD "Proxy", data 1.
