How to display date in taskbar

Anyone knows how to increase the width of the time icon on the bottom right
of the desktop to display the date. I don't want to increase the height to
display the date by dragging it upwards as this would decrease my screen
real estate further.

As far as I know, increasing the taskbar height is the only native way. I
use an app called winbar, but that takes up about as much space as the
taskbar.
