Hum, I never tired it...
But...why not use a sub-report? This would give you an ability to place a
"grid" like results anywhere on the report you want. Even more cool is that
sub-report can be placed in the details section, and display child records
for EACH parent record displayed in the detail section (that means for each
record in the detail..the sub-report will display the "many" records that
belong to each record. This is super!).
Hence, you have the ability to display/report a the classic one to many
relationship that we all so commonly have to deal with.
So, I see little if any reason to try using a data grid.
And, on the forms side..the same thing applies. You can see some screen
shots of girds in access..and you don't need any special controls.
