Hi,

I have a question about user's logon.I have a domain
active.msft,i want my clients to logon from their PCs just
from active.msft rather than local machine. What should be
done to achieve this goal.

Thanks in advance.

John Park.

John,

1. Don't let your users have any local machine user accounts and they will
not be able to log on to the local machine.
2. Instruct you users to logon with the user name as (e-mail address removed)

You cannot remove the "Local Computer" from the drop down list.
The only option available, and it will only be a viable option on a
NT based workstation, is to disable all local accounts on the client
workstation except for administrator, and make sure that the local
administrator account has a complex password. You would also
need to make sure that the domain user is not a member of the
local administrators group, otherwise they would be able to create
users and reset the local admin password.
