Dear Windows expert,

I have a problem in my office. Our company is using the Windows 2000
professional. Now, we need to install USB web cam in PC, but our company
policy is not allow using the portable storage. Therefore, after I enable
the USB port in BIOS the user can plug the USB storage( e.g. USB memory, USB
digital cam, USB MO etc. ) to the PC and copy the data.

Do you know haw can I to protect this problem ? How to disable the access
USB mass storage ?

Thank you very much.

Regards,
Rex

Try denying them access to usbstor.sys.

See tip 7093 in the 'Tips & Tricks' at http://www.jsiinc.com for how to do it
with Windows XP.
