how to disable PPP IP from showing up in DNS

One of our servers for some reason has two IP addresses in
DNS. It has the ethernet address which is the valid one
but the PPP IP also shows up in DNS although it is
disabled. This causes problems on our network when a
client is trying to find that host. It confuses the two
IPs. When I remove the entry in DNS it shows up again
later. How do I disable it completely?

You'll want to look at this article. Check the part that you want to just
disable the RAS interface and not the NIC or else that will cause more
issues:
