how to disable NET SEND COMMAND from win2k workstation

How do i disable net send command ?? in GP, under System->
Do not run these applications, I specified cmd.exe,
Command.com and Disable command prompt, but if users have
a batch file in floppy disk they can still run it ?? how
to disable this Please???

This has come up a few times in this group over the past week. Try looking
through some of the previous discussions. For example, "Net Sends from the
CMD" posted about 65 hours ago.

Thanks for this just had a look.
if i stop messenger services this will affect other
programs that I'm running, I mean is there any other ways
that I could prevent users from running net send command,
beside net stop messenger services

Just try it. In most cases disabling MESSENGER Service is the
answer for preventing users from using NET SEND. Some few programs
may no longer be able to pop up a Messenger window locally. Any well
written program will use a real dialog box and/or write an Event Log
entry. And there is always searching at Google...
