We have an email account here which auto-replies a pretty typical message
"thank you for your interest,...etc..." I found out real fast that it gets
really ugly when this auto reply function meets up with another one
somewhere on the other end, for example, when it auto-replies to somebody
who has OOOA running.

What's a good way to avoid this problem?

I thought about maybe changing the 'reply-to' address from this particular
account...if this is a good way to get around this problem, I still don't
know how to modify the reply-to address specifically. I've only seen this
done with typical POP3 accounts, not with corporate exchange mail systems.

Help me out someone?

We're running Exchange 5.5 latest SP, and 2000/2002 clients.

Thanks much in advance...

I use public folders for the AutoReply's...

Make the PF (Public Folder) a recipient of the mailbox and
then use the PF Assistant to make a rule that does not reply
to "auto replies, etc..." I also have the message auto delete
after sending the message.

There is a script available on cdolive that does autoreplies
and checks for certain circumstances if you want to try
this for a solution...
