How to disable a mail account

Hi,

In Outlook Express I can disable a given mail account just by unchecking the
option "Include this account when checking for new mail". Do I have a
similar option in Microsoft Outlook 2003?

Yes, Tools-> Options-> tab Mail Setup-> button Send/Receive-> button Edit
