I have a assignment here to develop a network fax server.
What I need to do is to develop a program that will send/receive faxes
about(100 per day).
What hardware and software do I need?
Do I need fax card, fax modem, fax machine?
What program/software do I need?
Any suggestion is appriciated!

Hardware: a server and a fax modem (telephone line, electrical connections,
the usual).
Software: Windows 2003 server (comes with a shared fax server).

As long as you do not convert the win2003 server into a domain controller
the shared
fax server feature works fine. It can certainly handle 100 faxes a day.

Thank you so much, Gerry!
Do you have any recommendation for fax modem? I mean in reasonable
price and good performance?
Do I need third party software beside Windows 2003 server to handle
fax? I browse on the web, and found something like zetafax. I am not
sure it's a good idea to use third party software.
Also, how to I set up the fax client?
Thank you very much for your help?

The Windows 2003 fax server can be shared, so acts like a printer on the
outgoing side.
Incoming is another story, there are rules that may help, but this is where
the 3rd party
fax software comes in I think.
