Where do I go in Windows XP Professional to find out if
it is the 32 bit or 64 bit Version of Windows XP?

go to Start->Run and type 'winver' without the quotes. If it is 64 bit it
will say so. If it doesn't then you have 32 bit.

Almost certainly you have the 32-bit edition. Almost anybody who
has to ask the question is running the 32-bit version. The 64-bit
version requires special hardware. It and the hardware have come
down in price, but are still substantially more expensive than
the standard consumer PCs you see around. Very few home users are
using it.
