Hello!

I am using Windows 2000 SP4 (all updates). How do I find USB speed
information? Or do I need a special program to check?

Thank you in advance. :)

Go into Device Manager. If one of your USB controller entries
says "PCI to USB Enhanced Host Controller", that's USB 2.0.
The key word here is "Enhanced".

If it says "Universal Host Controller, or "Open Host Controller",
those are USB 1.1.

You may have more than one of the above, depending on
whether you're using onboard USB controllers and/or an
add-on USB card.

Thanks Rick! I will try that on Monday. I did a quick check in XP's
device manager and saw the keyword Enhanced. :)
