How to delete ?????

I have a compaq preserio 912 and my server is msn with windows xp .Home.
On my home page i can click on the white search line "not the search
button" and i get a drop down list of previous contacts . I would like
very much to deleat some of these that i don't wish to contact again. If
anyone can tell me how and if this this can be done i would really
appreciate the answer.Thanks much JIM
Ps. Also is there a way to block incoming access from certain parties to
my {pc} ???
 
Tools > Internet Options & select Clear History, although this will remove
*all* entries.

Not sure what you mean when you say "block certain parties" You can download
Zone Alarm firewall to stop intrusions

In IE, tools, Internet Options, content tab, autocomplete, clear forms. You can also
set your history to how many days you want it retained. This will be found on the
general tab in IE. Are you trying to block emails? You can create rules that will
block emails you don't want. In Outlook,Tools, message rules...
