When I type the name of certain contacts in the "To" line of a new Email, I
get both active and expired Email addresses. I'd like to delete the expired
addresses, but they don't show up on the contact page or in the Outlook
address book. When I highlight the expired addresses, right click and select
"Look up Outlook contact," the response is "Could not find a contact with
this email address." But when I highlight, right click and select "Outlook
properties," the properties box comes up with the name and the expired Email
address. Any idea where I find the expired addresses in order to delete them?

Thanks for any help you can provide!

Just High-Light them and press the delete button. This will purge it from
the nicknames that you see.

You are looking at the "Nickname" information that Outlook presents to
you when you have mailed to someone.
