how to delete Network Connections

i dont know how to delete a (LOCAL NETWORK) connection icon....
.....all that i find is how to delete a service from the connection....
but i want to delete a whole connection ...
how can i do that....?

You will have to delete/uninstall/disable the network hardware device
that this local connection is using. Do this from Control Panel -
System - Hardware - Device Manager.
