How to delete music lists

I was just learning to use Music Media 10 version. I have all these playlists
with different types of music in them. I wanted to organize them in a new
playlist and get rid of the old list. I know how to make a new list, I just
don't know how to get rid of the old. I tried deleting them from the library,
but it also deletes them from the new playlist. Help!!!!!!
 
Click on "library". Select "My Playlists" in left pane. Right click the
playlist you wish to delete. Click "delete". Select to "delete playlist from
library" or "library and computer".
