Hi Guys,

Anyone know how to fully delete the entries in the address bar eg.

If I use the 'delete history' it appears to delete the entries because when
I go to the dropdown menu nothing appears. However if I type the first
letter of a deleted entry immediately after the www. it appears to still be
there. Where the hell is it being cached /stored.

EG: http://www.webmasters.com Clear the history, then type http://www.w
and it appears in the dropdown menu - go figure?

Hello Mike,

In Internet Explorer, choose Tools, Internet Options and then the Content
tab.
Click on the "AutoComplete" button and uncheck Web Addresses (and any other
options your don't want IE to remember).
Then go back and "Clear History" again.

Have a look at Internet TOOLS/OPTIONS in the Advanced Tab there is a setting
you can choose called "Use inline AutoComplete for Web Addresses. if you
uncheck this it should stop the habit.

Hope this helps.
