Dear all,

When deleting a contact, it keeps poping up when typing similar name or if
contact person has changed email address. For instance, when typing my
wife's name, her prior email address from prior jobs keep poping up. I
CANNOT stand it anymore. I deleted them a long time ago and kept only one.
When typing her name, I only want valide or current email address to pop up,
not the old ones that were deleted.

I don't know if it exist or not but Microsoft should include in the delete
process something that would enable to erase COMPLETELY and FOREVER old
address one does not want to keep.

Can you help me? Thanks in advance.

You are talking about the autocompletion cache, which has nothing to do with
your Contacts.
Remove individual addresses from the autocompletion cache by highlighting
the entry when presented in the suggested names list (use your arrow key to
migrate to the entry) and then hitting your Delete key before you tab out of
the field. If your autocomplete list contains only a single entry, use the
directions here:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;289975

To clear the entire cache, follow the instructions here:
